How to Measure Your Finger at Home
Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring
- Select a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
- Place a ruler across the center of the ring's opening.
- Measure the inside diameter in millimetres (mm) without including the metal band.
- Match the mm measurement to the table above.
Method 2: Paper Strip / String
- Cut a thin strip of paper or non-stretchy string.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger (and over your knuckle).
- Mark the exact point where the ends meet with a pen.
- Lay the paper flat and measure the length in mm (this is your circumference).
💡 Helpful Ring Sizing Tips
- Between sizes? We recommend sizing up, especially for wider bands or stacker sets.
- Time of day: Fingers are naturally slightly smaller in the morning and expand with warmth throughout the day. Measure in the afternoon for the most comfortable fit.
- Knuckle width: If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size halfway in between.
